Pack 89 Leadership,
Korea District Segments Program are back. More information about the segments can be seen "HERE".
We will give this a trial period for the Pack to fund these patches as we determine how successful our bake sale is this month and if we can afford to add this program to our expenses.
Please include earning these as part of your den activities and Jim Hardin will obtain the segments as part of his preps for the Pack meetings. Den leaders...Please let Jim know who needs the initial round "Far East Council Activities" patch for the October Pack meeting.

- Friends of Scouting (FOS)
The Far East Council needs the financial support of Scout families to operate. Our Friends of Scouting provides 18% of our annual budget. The council has developed this recognition plan as a means of saying "Thank You" to those who pay for the services and programs of our council.

- Continuity Binder...
I've got a Continuity Binder started on the website with much thanx going to Marc. This would be a GREAT place to provide that continuity to the folks coming after us and also to share ideas/Lessons Learned. For example, when you go on a hike to a state park...how'd you get there? how long did it take? what did you forget? what did you look for? why did you go?
Remember, when you are sitting under a shade tree, somebody a long time ago planted that tree and you are enjoying the fruit of their labor. Let's return the favor and plant a tree for someone else!!
