OWL TRAINING: Outdoor Webelos Leader (OWL) Training. OWL Training for June has been cancelled. It will be incorporated with Scoutmaster Basic outdoor Training in September (27/28 Sept 08). Submit reservations/applications via Pete at the scout office. For more details contact Pete at the scout office by calling DSN 738-3166 or send him an e-mail to pvieira@bsamail.org.

Requirements to be a "Trained" Cub Scout Leader--Korea District
NOTE: If a leader's position changes, they must attend the Position Specific training session for their new position to be considered trained for that position.
To be able to wear the "Trained" patch, you must:
- Tiger Cub Den Leader
  Attend "New Leader Essentials Training" and "Cub Scout Leader Specific Training," including the "Cub Scout Tiger Cub Den Leader Training Session."
- Cub Scout Den Leader
  Have attended "Cub Scout Leader Training," including the "Cub Scout Den Leaders Split Session," prior to Sep 8, 2001..OR
  Attend "New Leader Essentials Training" and "Cub Scout Leader Specific Training," including the "Cub Scout Den Leader Training" session
- WEBELOS Den Leader
  Have attended "Cub Scout Leader Training," including the "WEBELOS Leader Specific Training," including the "WEBELOS Den Leader Training" session, prior to Sep 8, 2001...OR
  Attend "New Leader Essentials Training" and "Cub Scout Leader Specific Training," including the "WEBELOS Den Leader Training" session.
- Pack Committee
  Have attended "Cub Scout Leader Training," including the "Pack Leaders Split Session," prior to Sep 8, 2001...OR
  Attend "New Leader Essentials Training" and "Cub Scout Leader Specific Training," including the "Pack Committee Training" session
- Cubmaster
  Have attended "Cub Scout Leader Training," including the "Pack Leaders Split Session," prior to Sep 8, 2001...OR
  Attend "New Leader Essentials Training" and "Cub Scout Leader Specific Training," including the "Cubmaster Training" session.

Youth Protection Training
Required annually for all leaders. This training is provided by the National Organization. However, it must be accessed through a council website. Our council does not yet have a website for this, so you must access it through another council’s site. Don’t worry about “sending” the registration report or training certification because these are only appropriate for members of those councils. Just report to the Pack 89 Training Coordinator (Stacy Pilgreen @ stacypaul667@hotmail.com) once you have completed this training. Access any of the following websites for youth protection training. They all access the same training from national.
